But there are other reasons to get a diving license in Europe.
Europe and Germany, with their ISO and DIN standards, guarantee good quality management.
In general, you can be sure that the given training standards will be met if a diving school trains as part of an association with registrations according to ISO 24801-1/2 or DIN EN 14153-1/2.
Collect information in advance. With serious diving instructors and diving schools, you will only receive your certification, i.e. your diving certificate (Brevet), if you have successfully completed the diving examination and can conscientiously deal with your newly acquired knowledge. If your diving certificate is just handed to you so to not spoil the good holiday spirit, e.g. abroad, you should definitely have your training level checked and confirmed by a responsible diving instructor for the sake of your health.
You should be able to use what is written on your brevet. This knowledge and the safe use of the diving devices will protect your life!
The basic conditions for diving in the sea are considerably different than in our domestic waters, for example in Germany and Austria.
Diving in freshwater requires more sensitivity than in salt water.
In freshwater you have less time to balance your buoyancy because it is stronger.
In freshwater visibility and warmth are usually quite different from the sea.
This usually means that a diver who is trained in freshwater will have little problems in the sea. Conversely, this is not the case.
